key account manager
teenage engineering develops highly acclaimed products for people who love sound, music and design. we are on an exiting growth journey and are now looking for a wholesale key account manager to join our team.
role and responsibilities
we seek a highly experienced and skilled key account manager, to develop, manage and maintain, our preferred partner stores, through the deployment of our TEPP program.
highly comfortable selling musical instruments, technology and/or consumer electronics, you should be able to demonstrate plenty of previous experiences, working with point of sales materials, that aid the sales of more complex products.
this role will report to and work extremely closely with the head of sales, as well as other key members of the commercial team, in the excellent delivery of our product and brand, through optimum physical locations.
who you are
you will have around 5 to 10+ years of sales experience, selling from higher quality / luxury branded retail or retail/wholesale organisations, who demonstrate the highest standards of presentation within physical locations.
you will be highly sales orientated, but with an even greater concern for standards of merchandising, selling and presentation.
you will be impatient in attaining goals, whilst determined to reach the very highest standards and details required, in terms of product and brand representation. a high attention to detail.
the role will involve international travel, as well as skilfully utilising digital and written methods of communication.
you will speak english and will preferably live in stockholm, or alternatively berlin or london.
(swedish, german, spanish or french proficiencies would be advantageous)

- 5 to 10 years experience, selling from higher end retail or retail/wholesale organisations
- experienced in selling musical instruments, technology and/or consumer electronics
- results orientated, sales and margin accountable.
- demonstrable skills in negotiating with wide a ranges of people and roles, with a warm & engaging style
- attention to detail, impatient to move forward, but with high regard to qualitative processes and details.
