general
as the online marketplace specialist at teenage engineering, your main goal is to manage and optimize our current online marketplace operations, and identify new marketplace opportunities. your role will involve strategic planning as well as hands-on execution to ensure the success of our commercial initiatives across various online platforms.
this position requires close collaboration within the commercial team and with the marketing team to ensure alignment and consistency in our marketplace strategies. you will play a key role in expanding our brand's online presence and optimizing performance to drive brand awareness/equity as well as growth and profitability.
main responsibilities & tasks
oversee the day-to-day operations, including product listings, keywords activations and the brand storefront.
marketplace expansion: research and evaluate other online marketplaces where teenage engineering should establish a presence. develop strategies for launching and optimizing our presence on these platforms.
strategic planning: develop and implement long-term plans to expand our online marketplace presence and increase revenue, staying informed about industry trends and competitor activities.
performance optimization: analyze sales data, traffic, and other kpis to continuously improve marketplace performance. implement strategies to enhance conversion rates, customer satisfaction, ratings & reviews and overall sales.
cross-functional collaboration: work closely with the rest of the commercial team and the marketing team to align marketplace activities with broader company goals and ensure brand consistency across all platforms.
compliance and risk management: ensure that all activities on online marketplaces comply with relevant regulations, marketplace policies, and company standards to minimize risk.
qualifications
proven experience in managing and successfully growing online marketplaces.
in-depth knowledge of online marketplaces, particularly amazon, including marketplace tools and software (e.g., helium 10, jungle scout).
proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques to drive data-informed decisions.
strong analytical abilities with a focus on optimizing performance metrics and driving commercial success.
strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
excellent communication and collaboration skills, adept at working with cross-functional teams.
education
bachelor's degree in business, marketing, commerce, or a related field. advanced degrees or certifications in e-commerce, digital marketing, or related areas are preferred.
experience
minimum of 3-5 years of experience managing online marketplaces, especially amazon, within the consumer electronics industry.
proven track record of successfully implementing and delivering online marketplace sales growth and improving marketplace performance.
experience with crm systems, lead generation, and customer engagement strategies is a plus.

the position located at our hq in stockholm and will report to the head of DTC. as this position is located in stockholm, a swedish work permit is required to apply. applicants not located in stockholm will not be considered. some level of travel activity is to be expected as a part of the role.
