As a key step in teenage engineering’s continued growth and development, the company is now recruiting a Head of Sales (Distribution & Resellers). As the Head of Sales, you will lead teenage engineering’s global business to business strategy. Your role will focus on developing and executing data-driven sales strategies, strengthening key account and distributor relationships, and driving sell-through via distributors and resellers. As Head of Sales, you will be part of the commercial executive management team and will report directly to the Chief Commercial Officer. You will lead a team of five, covering Europe and North America. As the Team is expected to grow, it is important that you have the knowledge and capacity to identify and attract and retain the best talent to teenage engineering.
This role is focused on driving growth and optimizing sales across international markets, combining strategic vision with hands-on execution.
We are looking for someone matching the following profile:
- B2b leadership: 5-10+ years of experience in b2b sales management, with a focus on key accounts and distributor management
- Sell-through expertise: proven ability to drive sell-through across distribution channels, ensuring successful product movement
- Data-driven decision-making: strong analytical skills to guide strategy and improve sales performance based on data insights.
Excellent attention to details:
- Collaborative leadership: experience working with cross-functional teams to align sales strategies with broader business goals
- Hands-on and proactive: comfortable with day-to-day operations in a lean environment, solving problems in real-time and driving results
- Builder mentality: someone who can transform and grow the b2b function into a future-ready model
- Education: bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field
- Leadership & team management: successful experience of building, developming and managing a successful team
- Strategic & operational stretch: The Head of Sales must be able to seamlessly switch between strategic and operational perspectives. You are expected to manage one or two main accounts while at the same time maintaining the strategic and long term course of actions
- Musical instruments/ Audio: experience and strong interest in the musical instruments and/or audio categories
