sourcing & logistics specialist to teenage engineering
this position plays a key role in sourcing electronic components and PCBs, while coordinating global logistics activities. you will work in a cross-functional interface with product design, manufacturing and the rest of the supply chain team to secure material availability and ensure timely, cost-effective delivery of both components and finished goods.
this is a fixed-term contract position to cover for a parental leave, for about 12 months.

you are structured and proactive, with experience working in erp systems and supply chain flows. you enjoy solving problems, keeping deadlines, and finding efficient solutions. strong communication skills help you work well with both suppliers and colleagues across teams.
main responsibilities & tasks
- source and purchase electronic components and pcbs, from prototype to mass production
- manage component stock at EMS and third-party warehouses including biannual inventory count.
- negotiate pricing with suppliers, distributors and logistics providers
- support the finance department in settling accounts.
- coordinate shipments, custom clearance, and reverse logistics
- ERP control & SKU input and purchase order creation
- act as the point of contact internally for shipments to/from TE HQ.
qualifications
- fluent in written & verbal english.
- university degree in a relevant subject such as supply chain, logistics or procurement
- +3 year(s) of experience in a similar role.
- strong understanding of supply chain principles and practices.
- excellent negotiation and communication skills.
- proficiency in using ERP systems.
