this position plays a key role in sourcing electronic components and PCBs, while coordinating global logistics activities. you will work in a cross-functional interface with product design, manufacturing and the rest of the supply chain team to secure material availability and ensure timely, cost-effective delivery of both components and finished goods.

this is a fixed-term contract position to cover for a parental leave, for about 12 months.

main responsibilities & tasks

• source and purchase electronic components and pcbs, from prototype to mass production
• manage component stock at EMS and third-party warehouses including biannual inventory count.
• negotiate pricing with suppliers, distributors and logistics providers
• support the finance department in settling accounts.
• coordinate shipments, custom clearance, and reverse logistics
• ERP control & SKU input and purchase order creation
• act as the point of contact internally for shipments to/from TE HQ.
  

qualifications

• fluent in written & verbal english.
• university degree in a relevant subject such as supply chain, logistics or procurement
• +3 year(s) of experience in a similar role.
• strong understanding of supply chain principles and practices.
• excellent negotiation and communication skills.
• proficiency in using ERP systems.
