teenage engineering develops highly acclaimed products for people who love sound, music and design. we are looking for an experienced videographer to join our marketing department and in-house creative team in stockholm.

as our videographer, you will create film and video content for teenage engineering products, campaigns, launches and events. you will work across the full process, from idea and planning to shooting, editing and final delivery. this is a hands-on role for someone who loves film, has a strong eye for detail and a natural sense for light, movement and storytelling.

at teenage engineering, film and image are an important part of how we communicate. we work with a strong visual identity and clear guidelines, but they are not limits. within that framework, we explore new ideas, formats and ways of telling stories. almost all productions are made in house, in close collaboration with the marketing team, product owners, designers and other specialists. you will work with established principles, but also have room to test, shape and create together with the team.

what you will be working with:

• producing, shooting and editing video content for teenage engineering products and campaigns.

• creating commercials, demo videos, launch assets, event documentation, livestream content and channel-specific cutdowns.

• planning shoots together with the creative team, product owners and designers.

• setting up cameras, lighting and basic audio for studio and location shoots.

• working with pacing, sound, colour, composition and visual storytelling.

• adding graphical elements, titles, transitions and motion when needed.

• organising footage, project files and exports.

• contributing ideas for how teenage engineering communicates through film.

• travelling for shoots, events and productions when needed.
  

ideally you:

• have several years of experience in professional video production.

• have a strong portfolio or showreel showcasing a range of video styles.

• are skilled in camera operating, lighting, editing and colour correction.

• are comfortable working with cameras, lenses, lights, microphones and basic studio equipment.

• are organised, self-driven and comfortable taking initiative, whether you are working from a clear brief or developing the visual direction together with the team

• are proficient in macOS and relevant editing software.

• have a good eye for composition, pacing, detail and product storytelling.

• are comfortable working independently as well as part of a small creative team.

• have an interest in, and understanding of, the teenage engineering product world.

• have an interest in music, technology, design, culture and visual communication.

• experience with after effects or motion graphics is a plus, but not a requirement.

the position is full-time and located at our hq in stockholm, so you need to be based in stockholm. a swedish work permit is required to apply.
