teenage engineering develops highly-acclaimed products for people who love sound, music and design. we are now looking for a supply chain specialist to join our team in stockholm on a temporary basis to cover for a maternity leave of initially 15 months.

as a member of the supply chain team the supply chain specialist role is to work with all supply chain activities from sourcing and purchasing parts and products to managing pick and pack, as well as logistics. you are the team leader for the logistics and sourcing team.

tasks & responsibilities

general

• team leader for sourcing and logistics team

• manage supply chain activities, inventory control, logistics and custom clearance/compliance

• supply planning of finished goods

• manage warehouse operations

• measure and deliver on supply chain KPI’s for warehouse and shipping costs

• assess, manage and mitigate supply chain operation related risks

• system owner of ERP, product catalogue and supply chain operations

• support finance in settling of the accounts

• oversee and plan for refurbished program

purchasing

• monthly, quarterly and annual procurement plans and progress reports as required.

  • technical implementation & maintenance of relevant files such as demand & supply

  • company-wide weekly updates

• issue and supervise purchase orders and material authorizations for components and products according to forecast

• drive centralization of company/department purchasing

• involvement with stakeholder discussions on stock & ordering decisions

• ensure components and material supply to enable project industrialization

• planning product kitting

logistics

• manage logistics logic from/to vendors and warehouses.

• setting up new warehouse locations

• manage inventory levels, inventory values and inventory counts

• responsible for volumetric packaging efficiency, cost-saving, stock & spearheading packaging improvement projects

• being point of contact to the forwarders and negotiating and setting agreement and price levels.
