at teenage engineering, we build products for people who love sound, music, and design. we are now looking for a talented and versatile graphic designer to join our team in stockholm.

in this role, you will be working with projects all the way from conceptual prototyping to mass production. your work scope will be broad and hands-on, covering everything from packaging design, printed matters, and product digital design to illustrations, pos material, marketing material, product legends, textile prints and product guides.

the role involves working closely with our creative director, other designers and various internal departments, as well as our external suppliers. to thrive in this position, you need exceptional conceptualization and design skills, deep technical expertise and a highly collaborative nature.

what you will be working with:

• projects all the way from prototyping to mass production

• responsibility for future teenage engineering packaging and products

• commenting on production samples and creating clear feedback documents

• creating and updating final artworks for packaging and products

• driving creative projects effectively in collaboration with other designers and the creative director

• helping and supporting other departments with graphic design needs

• traveling as part of the role requirements

ideally you have:

• a degree in graphic design, illustration or a similar field

• a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in the field

• exceptional typographic, graphic design, and composition skills

• good knowledge of packaging materials, print, and production methods

• exceptional attention to detail, critical thinking, and creative ability

• strong organization, communication, and project/time management skills

• flexibility and the ability to work under tight timelines to meet project deadlines

• flexibility to change and adapt to a considerable variety in the workplace

• exceptional skills in Adobe Creative Suite

• basic drawing skills

• a deep understanding of the brand’s high-quality level demand

• a strong interest in finding new, relevant graphic references

bonus points (a plus):

• good skills in packaging design and prototyping

• basic cad experience

• basic rendering knowledge

the position is full-time and located at our hq in stockholm, so you need to be based in stockholm. a swedish work permit is required to apply.

the company was founded in 2007. our first product was the OP–1, a portable all-in-one synthesizer used by world famous artists, sound designers and dj's. other products range from the ultra portable and low cost pocket operators®, the OP–XY sequencer, synthesizer, and sampler, to the EP series and OB–4 the magic radio. our hq is located in stockholm, sweden. here a multidisciplinary team of software / electrical / mechanical engineers and industrial / textile / lifestyle designers are developing our products from start to finish. the studio is a fully equipped workshop with a state-of-the-art rapid prototyping machines.
